The Consultation
Is the initial meeting where we will sit down and talk about you. Establish your goals, what you want to achieve and the different program options based on what suits your body, your budget and your schedule.
Your First Session – Movement Screen
Using the Functional Movement Screen created by Grey Cook and his team of professionals we will assess you through 3 functional moves and 4 fundamental. These 7 patterns are the movement patterns we move through everyday.
This screen will tell us where we need to focus so that we can improve the way your body moves. It also lets us know if we need to refer you to a specialist before we start training.
Why?
Many people dive head first into exercising after years of being sedentary, this can lead to injury, holding back your health and fitness goals. To maintain a long term program and long term results you need to be injury free and improve the way your body moves. Based on the results of your movement screen and consultation we will recommend the program best suited for your body, your budget and your schedule.
Nutrition
Lots of my clients tell me when they first meet me that they eat healthy. They quickly realize after working with me that eating healthy food and eating in a healthy manner are not the same thing. If you eat healthy and you still have a high percentage of body fat, this may very well be you.
Using our N.A.S.A. approved nutrition software we can assess your current food choices make slight adjustments to get you better results. It really is that easy!
